The last 16 months have been a complete whirlwind, and honestly, I am just now getting the chance to catch my breath. Since it has been difficult, even for me, to grasp what has been going on in my career, let me break it down for you real quick.
- Scored my 1000th point.
- Won an ACC Championship and received MVP honors.
- NCAA Tournament canceled.
- Graduated from NC State.
- Passed over in the WNBA draft.
- Signed my first professional contract in Switzerland with Elfic Fribourg.
- 34-0 record in Switzerland effectively making history.
- An Elite 8 appearance in Eurocup, as the first Swiss team, to reach that stage of the tournament.
- Signed a Training Camp contract with the Washington Mystics.
- Got cut from the Washington Mystics.
- Signed my second professional contract in Belgium with Castor Braine.
- Made the Canadian Americup team.
- Started 5/7 games at Americup, lead the tourney in 3pts made and %, lead the team in assists & was 11th overall, 6th in the tourney in scoring, and 4th in the tourney in assist to turnover ratio. (Before you come for me, the website is missing one game of my stats)
- Cemented myself as one of the best shooters on the international stage.
- Was not selected as a member of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Team and was made an alternate.
Now that we are all caught up, I have so much to tell you! Where do I even start?!
Before I launch into these crazy, exciting, and sometimes heartbreaking stories, let me say that I would not change a single thing. I am currently the most motivated and excited I have ever been in my career. I have the unique opportunity to examine my weakness as both an athlete and a professional and bring myself to the next level.
